Very easy access to freeway. Convenient location to UCSB (University of California, Santa Barbara). Great complimentary breakfast. Reasonable price.
The room was spacious and well appointed. The staff always said hello and smiled. Maid service was really prompt. Grounds very well kept. Entertaining ducks in the lagoon. We've found our new place to stay when visiting our daughter at UCSB. ...read more

Overall room was nice.
Did not like the small balcony overlooking the smelly lagoon and bathroom was very small.
When we pulled up we expected much more for the cost. The lobby is very small and the staff was not real friendly. About the only thing I liked was the bed and the IHOP across the street.

Included free breakfast was excellent, lagoon with ducks and turtles very scenic and staff very friendly.
Can think of nothing we did not like.
This hotel reflects pride of ownership with employees that seem to care, that guests enjoy their stay. Everything was very clean and the breakfast had a wide variety, including healthy choices if desired. ...read more

Noise from outside, and hallways. Breakfast food was free but was low quality.
Rooms not sound insulated - could hear outside wind and road traffic, and other guests in hallway.
